Here it is, not even 6 o’clock in the morning, and I am awake and blogging. Is this the twilight zone?! I usually need 12 hours of sleep…but here lately all my body will let me do is 7!! This is all well and good…except I went to bed at 10…which means I woke up at 5! There isn’t much you can do in an RV at 5 am.
I have watched several different versions of the news this morning. I like to switch back and forth between 3, 5 and 15…Apparently OJ Simpson is again facing life in prison. Something about robbery…what a loser! He says he is “putting his faith in the jury.” Yeah because he probably pays them off!
In other news…Ike is headed toward Houston and the coast of Texas…And will probably make heavy rains for Big Bend. I hope it doesn’t mess anything up! That would be horrible. Hopefully will just bring a lot of rains so it will be nice and cool when I get there! And hopefull it won’t hurt Houston because that is where my mom’s family lives.
So, only 12 days and counting until my final day at Crabs – We Got ‘Em…WOO HOO! I am not too excited about the next too weekends though! I just want to quit, but then I wouldn’t have health and dental insurance anymore! It’s 450 for the 3 months that I am gone. I figure it will be great to have that just in case a boulder falls on me or I get attacked by a Panther while I’m out west. Haha…hopefully that won’t happen…but it’s better to be safe than sorry!
After my last day is Sarah’s 21st birthday on the 23rd. My last day is 2 days before her birthday…and then I move to Alabama later that week. I leave my RV in Bama and drive to Texas starting the 5 of October. I have to be in Big Bend on the 12, but might get there a day early so I have drive around.
That’s about it…hope you didn’t fall asleep over there!! I think I might have to take a little nap before I go for my bike ride!
